Heechul

Heechul was inspired to join an entertainment company after watching PSY perform.

Heechul has a pet Russian Blue cat named Heebum (born in 2006) and a mixed-breed Jack Russell Terrier named Gibok (born in 2019). He has also fostered orphaned or abandoned animals in the past, including Goblin, the late Sulli's cat, before it was formally adopted by Kim Sun Ah.

Som Dam-Bi gave Heechul the nickname "Kim Condom" because he always carries her home when she's drunk, so she feels safe with him.

Heechul and Lee Wonmin, the CEO of WM Entertainment, have been friends for 20 years.

In 2011, Heechul wrote the lyrics for Shanghai Romance by Orange Caramel, which became very popular at the time. Thirteen years later, in 2024, influencers and top K-pop idol groups brought the song back into the spotlight, turning it into a viral trend on major video streaming platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
