Yorisu respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe that content hosted on Yorisu infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure outlined below.
Yorisu is a fan-operated community platform that hosts user-submitted content. We review and act on properly submitted copyright complaints as quickly as reasonably possible. Where applicable, we aim to follow the notice-and-takedown framework described by the DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

If you believe that material was removed from Yorisu by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Your counter-notice must include:
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file an action seeking a court order within 10–14 business days of receiving the counter-notice, the removed material may be restored.
Yorisu has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their accounts suspended or permanently banned.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Yorisu is a non-commercial fan community. Many images hosted on this platform are fan-sourced photos of public figures shared for informational and community purposes. We make reasonable efforts to respond to rights holders and will remove content promptly upon a valid complaint.
