aespa is a four-member girl group debuted by SM Entertainment in November 2020, consisting of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. The group introduced a groundbreaking concept centered around virtual avatars called "æ" counterparts, blending real and digital worlds into an elaborate sci-fi universe called the "KWANGYA." This metaverse-inspired concept positioned aespa at the intersection of K-pop and technology.
