Moonbyul received attention for resemblance to BTOB’s Minhyuk and EXO’s Xiumin.

Moonbyul and her dog Keongang won the first place on "2020 Idol Star Dog-Agility Championships".

When MAMAMOO participated in Immortal Songs, Moonbyul wrote the rap parts by herself as they were not originally there.

Moonbyul was casted in Idol Drama Operation along with six female idols. They created seven member girl group called 'Girls Next Door' and was chosen as a leader. The group debuted in July 14, 2017.

Moonbyul has four dogs, three Welsh Corgis: Daebak, Haengwoon, Keongang and a rescued dog: Janggu.
