Bang Chan, born Bahng Christopher Chan, is a South Korean-Australian artist and the leader of the boy group Stray Kids under JYP Entertainment. He joined JYP in 2011 after passing an audition in Australia and trained for seven years. In 2016, he formed the hip-hop unit 3RACHA with fellow trainees Changbin and Han, releasing original music under the name “CB97.” He debuted as Stray Kids’ leader and main producer on March 25, 2018, with the album "I Am NOT". Bang Chan is also prolific songwriter and was promoted to a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) in 2023, with 208 songs registered under his name as of early 2025. In fashion, Fendi appointed him as a Global Brand Ambassador on January 16, 2025.
