LOONA yyxy, stylized as LOOΠΔ/yyxy, is the third and final pre-debut sub-unit of the girl group LOOΠΔ. They debuted with members Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Hyeju on May 30, 2018 with the mini-album beauty&thebeat;. The unit’s Korean name is pronounced *Idalui Sonyeo Wai-wai-bai-wai* from the Sino-Korean root meaning “Girl of the Month”, combined with the made-up neanthropic chromosome “yyxy”.
