INFINITE is a South Korean boy group formed by Woollim Entertainment in 2010, now managed by INFINITE Company. The group originally debuted with seven members on June 9, 2010, with the mini album First Invasion, and is currently composed of six members. Their first studio album, Over the Top (2011), featuring the hit single “Be Mine,” brought them widespread recognition and their first music show win on M Countdown. Later that year, they released the repackage "Paradise" and made their Japanese debut with “BTD (Before the Dawn)”. Member Hoya departed in 2017, followed by L in 2019. Between 2021 and 2022, the remaining members ended their contracts with Woollim but continued group activities independently. In 2023, leader Kim Sungkyu founded INFINITE Company. The rights for the trademarks of the group name, their fandom name, and 2017 concert titles were transferred from Woollim to the new company without any conditions or fee for Sung Kyu's birthday. INFINITE remains active as a six-member team, celebrated for their synchronized performances and lasting influence in Kpop.
