BLACKPINK is a 4-member girl group under [YG Entertainment](https://kpopping.com/companies/yg-entertainment). The group consists of [Jisoo](https://kpopping.com/profiles/idol/Jisoo), [Jennie](https://kpopping.com/profiles/idol/jennie), [Rosé](https://kpopping.com/profiles/idol/rose), and [Lisa](https://kpopping.com/profiles/idol/lisa). They debuted on August 8, 2016, with their first single album, [Square One](https://kpopping.com/musicalbum/2016-SQUARE-ONE). On October 23, 2018, BLACKPINK was officially signed with the U.S. label [Interscope Records](https://kpopping.com/companies/interscope-records). On December 29, 2023, all four members renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities, but chose to work independently for their individual activities.
