Lee Won-min is widely regarded as a key figure in the Korean music industry, having founded WM Entertainment in 2008 and successfully discovered and developed artists such as B1A4, Oh My Girl, ONF, Lee Chae-yeon, and USPEER, earning a reputation as a “Midas touch” producer within the industry. Following his departure from WM Entertainment after its separation from major shareholder RBW in 2024, Lee established MW Entertainment from the former WM headquarters in Mangwon-dong, reuniting with long-time staff to launch a new chapter. USPEER became the first active artist under MW Entertainment after the company secured the group’s exclusive contracts and trademark rights through negotiations with RBW. The agency announced plans for USPEER’s return with a new album, targeting a comeback in the first half of 2026. MW Entertainment has also confirmed preparations for the debut of a new boy group as part of its future lineup. MW Entertainment positions itself as an artist-focused agency, aiming to develop K-pop acts that combine musical quality, performance skill, and strong character, drawing on Lee Won-min’s decades of experience in the industry.
